1. it was interesing to hear the different views of the speakers, and how at some points they all agreed upon and could understand and how other points they all dissagreed. It was itnteresting how he brought up the point that as humans we only believe in things we are not sure about. How we dont ask if someone believes in gravity, because it is something we are sure of. I also liked how Deepak Chopra said that god did not create the universe, he became the universe. 2. Sephen Hawking speaks from a purely scientific viewpoint and as described by Father Spitzer, he leaves no room for a creator. He brings up some interesting points about the creation of the universe and how something came from nothing. Deepak Chopra explains how God, being who you believe to be god, became the universe rather then creating it. Father Spitzer believes that God is the creator of the universe and believes that God has always existed. 3. These opinions effect our society in different ways. the more open or closed people are to the possibility of the different creations of the universe shows their different outlooks on life. As humans we are interested in where we come from and how we got here. To open yourself up to new ideas and learn what others think only gives us more of an explanation as to how we got here.
